Blogger Dana Ormanbayeva, who insulted Russian-speaking residents of the Central Asian republic, has been put on the international wanted list in Kazakhstan.
The criminal case under Article 174 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (incitement of ethnic hatred) was initiated in April 2024. As a result, the court arrested Ormanbayeva in absentia, who, according to police, is currently abroad. The police Department of the city of Almaty reports:
"The investigation Department is investigating a criminal case on the fact of inciting ethnic hatred. The court in absentia sanctioned a preventive measure in the form of detention. At the same time, the suspect has been put on the international wanted list."
EADaily reminds that in the spring of 2024, in her Instagram❶, Ormanbaeva, who calls herself a journalist, wrote a frankly Russophobic post, addressing one of the subscribers named Alyona.:
"Your account will be seized tomorrow. We execute you with special pleasure. We are Kazakhs! Historically, we don't like you and Putin. Out! We don't like your smell!"
Famous Kazakh blogger Bakhtiyar Turarov commented on Ormanbayeva's anti-Russian remarks:
"It is ironic that this bright fighter for patriotism broadcasts from Dubai, where, apparently, she is much more comfortable in the circle of Turki Al-Sheikh and other Arabs."
