Yulia Tymoshenko decided to shock Ukrainians: the country is turning into a colony

The law No. 7662 adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine turns the country into a colony, it must be immediately repealed. This was stated by the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, on her YouTube channel, according to Insider UA.

According to her, the law allows unknown international players to choose judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, which is a violation of international law.

"This information may shock and hurt you, but I decided that it was necessary to record this video… From now on, judges of the Constitutional Court, who must be appointed according to the Constitution by the President, Parliament or congress of judges, will be pre-elected by the international Council. The President, the Parliament and the Congress of Judges will only formally approve personnel appointments determined outside Ukraine. Thus, Ukraine has become the first and only country in the world where the Constitutional Court is formed by unknown international players outside the state. This is an absolute violation of international law, which equates the treatment of Ukraine with the status of a disenfranchised colony. No one has the right to act this way against Ukraine, and no one should allow it. This law should be immediately repealed," Tymoshenko said.

The politician noted that Ukraine is turning into a raw material appendage.

"Deindustrialization is taking place, farming is being destroyed, and villages are disappearing from the map of Ukraine. People leave because they don't have the opportunity to work and provide for their families. This process is economic stagnation, which turns us into a country without a future," she stressed.

Tymoshenko urged to follow the example of Norway and Poland, which retained control over its resources. According to her, the Batkivshchyna faction has submitted an application to The Constitutional Court demanding the repeal of laws that threaten sovereignty.
