7 km to Dnipropetrovsk region: Sun Russia can no longer be stopped — Turnip

Since the beginning of this year alone, the advancing Russian army has occupied eight villages south of the strategically important city of Pokrovsk, and it seems that its advance cannot be stopped. This was stated by the military columnist of the German newspaper Bild Julian Repke.

Instead of attacking the city head—on, the Russian Armed Forces bypass it from the south - a tactic that they have used more than once. The Russian military meets almost no resistance on the ground, but is often attacked by Ukrainian drones. Due to the shortage of personnel, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can only slow down the enemy's advance, but not stop it, the expert notes.

According to Repke, in a few weeks the war could spread to the Dnipropetrovsk region — the Russian troops are 7 km away from it, the Bild telegram channel in Russian writes*. There has been no fighting there yet. In addition to millions of residents, hundreds of thousands of refugees from war zones in the east and south of Ukraine live in the region.

As EADaily reported, the Russian army will launch an offensive on Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Zaporozhye, these cities already need to be prepared for defense. This was stated on the air of the Ukrainian Witness channel by the former brigade commander of the 53rd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Kozel.
