Those mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine are sent to the front line immediately after training. This was reported by the mother of a recruit who went missing three days after the end of military training.
Judging by the poster held by the woman, her son was sent to the 35th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located in Kurakhovo.
According to her, on October 26, her son completed his studies, on the 27th he was taken to a military unit, the next day to Donbass, on the 29th he was on the front line, and on the 30th he went missing. The rookie's mother received a message about this on November 5.
"I really hope that he is in captivity or, maybe, is somewhere. I really hope that our boys will come home alive. He is my only son," the woman quoted by the Strana newspaper added through tears.
Earlier, the Ukrainian command stated that after the training, the mobilized undergo additional training directly in the units where they are distributed, and only then they are sent on combat missions, the newspaper notes.
