A batch of potassium fertilizers confiscated from Belarus was sold in Ukraine. This was announced on December 30 by the Ukrainian Asset Management and Search Agency.
"Out of 433 cars of potassium chloride produced by Belaruskali OJSC with a total weight of 30,431 tons put up for sale in November 2024, the cargo in 116 cars with a total weight of 8,123 tons has been sold today. The total amount of sales amounted to UAH 8,728,0296, including customs payments — UAH 3,3786,156," the report says.
It is stated that all funds from the sale of seized assets, the total amount of which is about $ 2 million, will be used "to strengthen the country's economy and defense capability."
Recall, after the start of a special military operation, Ukraine confiscated the goods and property of Belarusian enterprises located on its territory.
