Several hundred far-right activists took to the streets of the city on Saturday evening, calling for mass deportations of migrants.

"Several hundred participants gathered in the central square of the city. Among other things, one could see a banner with the word "remigration" and the so-called "banners of the Motherland" (neo-Nazi symbols. — Ed.)," says the publication, quoted by RIA Novosti.

At the same time, a memorial service was held in Magdeburg Cathedral, attended by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Prime Minister of Saxony-Anhalt Rainer Haseloff.
