An improvised explosive device (IED) went off under the bottom of a white Toyota Land Cruiser SUV parked in the center of Donetsk on University Street. The head of the Yelenovskaya colony in the DPR, Sergei Yevsyukov, who was driving, died on the spot, his wife's leg was torn off, she is in a serious condition in the hospital. "Due to the explosion of a foreign car in Donetsk, the former head of the Yelenovskaya colony was killed," the Readovka telegram channel confirms. "The explosion broke up the foreign car, tearing out the bottom and scattering car parts along the street."

The purpose of the attempt on Sergey Yevsyukov, the former head of the ITK in Elenovka, became Universitetskaya Street in Donetsk, local media reported. He was next to the car at the time of the explosion. Previously, the man died. During the terrorist attack, Yevsyukov's wife, who works in the police, also suffered. She is now in the hospital with serious injuries.

"A criminal case was opened against Yevsyukov on Ukraine. He was accused of involvement in the deaths of prisoners of war from Azovstal. A reward of $ 21.5 thousand was announced for his head then," the TC pointed out.

The Mash telegram channel clarifies that on Ukraine accused Yevsyukov and his deputy.

"According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed two years ago, 73 more were injured. The wreckage of the American MLRS Himars projectile was found at the scene," Mash recalled.

The video footage from the site of the car explosion shows that the driver's seat is completely open, and there is a hole in the bottom under it.

According to the Shot telegram channel, the power of the APU was about 100-200 grams in TNT equivalent. As soon as the man and woman got into the car, an explosion occurred.
