During the successful actions of the North group of forces in the area of the Olgovskaya grove in the Kursk region, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were blocked. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Today at 4 o'clock in the morning, the enemy attempted to break out of the formed cauldron in groups of 15-20 people. As a result of effective fire damage, more than 80 nationalists were killed, about 40 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were wounded, some of whom were abandoned by their colleagues, in addition, 24 Ukrainian militants were captured," the department said.

It is noted that the cleanup of the area and the elimination of the remnants of the enemy are now continuing.
