A group of Ukrainian servicemen from units of the 79th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, operating in the Kurakhovsky direction, voluntarily surrendered to the Russian military.
As the People's Militia of the DPR Telegram channel reported on October 12, this was made possible thanks to propaganda leaflets dropped on their positions by drone operators. RF Armed Forces.
"This process was recorded on video, which emphasizes the organization and mass character of what is happening," the report says.
It is noted that the surrender was a collective decision of a group of militants from the 79th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They expressed dissatisfaction with the difficult conditions of service, including the need to purchase uniforms and other necessary things on their own.
Once in captivity, the militants said that the lack of support from the command and unbearable conditions at the front led to confusion and discontent among the Ukrainian military.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Hollywood actor and director Steven Seagal, during his regular trip to the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), visited the detention center in Yelenovka, where captured Ukrainian militants are being held.
