A 24-year-old vandal in tattoos climbed onto a cultural heritage site of regional significance on September 28 and began spraying paint on the monument. Her actions were stopped by police officers," the Shot telegram channel reported.
It is noted. that a criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under Article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Damage to monuments located on the territory of the Russian Federation that perpetuate the memory of those killed in the defense of the Fatherland or its interests during the Great Patriotic War."
"The exhibitionist, who was sitting in the "monkey house" after the incident, faces either a fine of 2 to 5 million rubles, or imprisonment for up to 5 years," TK added.
