The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been throwing armored groups and infantry into battle for the fourth day, trying to break through the Russian defense in an "alternative" direction in the area of the border settlements of Medvezhye and the New Way of the Glushkovsky district, the telegram channel Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring writes.

"Now the APU is trying to take Veseloye, breaking through to it through a New Path and an Obukhovka. The rolls do not stop," the TC notes.

As EADaily reported today, the fighters of the North group of forces repelled five attacks of the Kiev regime troops in a new direction during the day — in Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"With the support of army aviation and artillery fire, five enemy attempts to break through the border of the Russian Federation in the direction of the settlements of Novy Put, Medvezhye and Fun," the summary says.

Recall, the Ukrainian telegram channel "Resident" reported, citing a source, that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, demands to keep the situation in the Kursk region and continue the offensive. In this regard, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, throws new reserves for a flank attack on the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces broke through the Russian border in another direction in the Kursk region. The village of Veseloe is located in the rear of the grouping of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Glushkovo, where the pontoon crossings of the Russian Army are located, is 7.5 km by road. The task is obvious: to capture the enemy's transport arteries, but after a counterstrike by the Russian army, this operation will not lead to a complete blockade of the military,"the "Resident" notes.

As EADaily reported, heavy fighting is taking place in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are attempting to break through from a new direction. This was reported on the eve of the telegram channel "Senior border guard".

The operational and combat situation in this area remains tense, the TC noted.
