During the advance of Russian troops to In Pokrovsk, representatives of the Ukrainian authorities evacuated from the city, after which all local civil services leave this settlement.

According to Ukrainian sources, currently in Pokrovsk still has about 30 thousand inhabitants, but all bank branches have been closed there for the second day, the post office and hospitals are not working, which are moving to the neighboring Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to the Strana newspaper, there are many pensioners left in the city who are now trying to withdraw money from ATMs that are still working.
