Western elites have gathered about 50 countries against Russia, all of them united by the idea of Russophobia and neo-Nazism. This was announced today, September 2, by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking to MGIMO teachers and students.
"The essence of the West's policy towards our country has always been that we are too strong and too independent. And we need to do something about it, preferably to break it up," Lavrov said. "Today, 50 countries are gathered against Russia also under Nazi banners, taking into account the essence of the Zelensky regime, and not only the essence, but even taking into account the chevrons and banners worn by the fighters of the so—called Ukrainian army."
He recalled that they had already tried to dismember Russia during the time of Napoleon and Hitler. However, Russia will not integrate into any Western schemes without taking into account Russian interests.
"We are not going to integrate into various schemes created without our participation and without taking into account Russian interests within the framework of Western rules," the minister said. "We will continue to react harshly to any unfriendly steps."
