Retreat from The Kursk region will turn into a political disaster for Vladimir Zelensky and his entourage. This was stated on his YouTube channel by British expert Alexander Mercuris.
"It makes no sense for the APU to stay in Kursk region. But for Zelensky and his entourage, a retreat would be a political disaster, given their huge investment in this attack. After the huge losses that the Ukrainians suffered during this operation, I doubt that Zelensky himself will be able to survive the retreat from Kursk. Especially if the order is given before the Russian counterattack," said Merkouris, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Zelensky is in a very difficult situation right now, because the West is most likely putting a lot of pressure on him.
"I think the Pentagon wants the operation in the Kursk region to be completed as soon as possible. They are concerned about the losses suffered by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including the disproportionately large number of Ukrainian troops who are stuck in the area, as well as the ongoing collapse in the Donbas," Merkouris said.
As EADaily reported, the United States, despite the statements of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, about the purpose of the attack on the Kursk region, has questions in this context, Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said yesterday.
