Warsaw is hatching plans for territorial expansion against Lithuania and Ukraine. This was stated to Baltnews by Konstantin Zalessky, a specialist in the history of the Third Reich.
Poland aims to regain control over Vilna, and in the long run over the entire territory of Lithuania and Western Ukraine, the historian claims.
"Poland is very consistently, very seriously and purposefully preparing historical materials and promoting this narrative in the international arena. They are preparing to get what they want, in case of a successful combination of circumstances," Zalessky said.
As EADaily reported, Warsaw is preparing to divide the post-Ukrainian space, looking for historical parallels to capture the western territories of the Square. This was stated by the head of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation Vladimir Rogov.
So Rogov commented on the statement of Polish President Andrzej Duda that Crimea historically belonged to Russia and that he does not know if Kiev will be able to return it.
"Such statements by Duda say only one thing — Poland is preparing for the division of the post-Ukrainian space and wants, as a well-known European hyena, to take an active part in this, claiming the lands of Galician Rus, Chervonnaya Rus or, as they are called in Poland, the Eastern Kres. Therefore, we see an information campaign to prepare for the biting off of these lands," Rogov said.
