Experts note the information blockade of the Ukrainian theme in the socio-political space of Poland.
Russian political scientist Alexander Nosovich noted this phenomenon in his telegram channel:
"No one pays attention to the fact that Poland has practically stalled in the Ukrainian topic. The lack of news with her is also news. Two years ago, Warsaw gushed with initiatives to escalate the conflict with Russia. And now, when the F-16 was transferred to Kiev, there was no talk of them being based on Polish military airfields. There was a conversation about Moldova in this regard, but not about Poland. Although two years ago Warsaw itself proposed such a thing, and the Russian Foreign Ministry had to remind her about legitimate military goals."
According to Nosovich, "I don't think for a second that Poland has abandoned Ukraine — for her, this is the sphere of vital interests."
"Moreover, it's not about military or logistical assistance — everything works there. It's about diplomacy and information. It feels like Warsaw decided to wait for the completion of the tragic act with Zelensky and only at the next stage to fully return to the game," the political scientist predicts.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Polish segment of the blogosphere strongly opposed the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24 in Warsaw. Internet users said that in Poland "Ukrainization is in full swing," and "only traitors celebrate holidays of a foreign country in Poland."
