Several dozen migrants who recently received Russian citizenship were issued summonses in Moscow to appear at the military enlistment office. The Investigative Committee took a walk around the capital.
At the bus station near the Shchelkovskaya metro station, located on the territory of the VAO, a vegetable depot and in hostels, employees of the military investigation of the Investigative Committee of Russia conducted an inspection. According to Kommersant, citing sources, representatives of the 516th military investigation Department of the Moscow Armed Forces of the TFR, together with employees of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, conducted a raid to identify the facts of illegal migration, as well as to verify compliance with the law by former migrants.
"Following the results of the raid, several dozen immigrants from other countries who recently received Russian citizenship were given summonses to appear for military registration," the newspaper writes.
