The situation in the Kursk region is controlled as much as possible by the Russian Armed Forces, although the situation remains tense.

This assessment of the military situation in the Russian region was voiced by the commander of the Akhmat special forces, deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Apty Alaudinov, to RIA Novosti on the afternoon of August 10.

According to him, the units The Russian Armed Forces, with the support of the Akhmat special forces, have cleared and fully control Martynovka under the Court. Our military destroyed a large number of armored vehicles and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The general noted that the situation in the region is "quite serious", since "quite a lot" of Ukrainian soldiers entered Russian territory. At the same time, he added that, in principle, the situation has already been taken under control.

"We are already controlling the situation as much as possible," Alaudinov stressed.
