As part of the prisoner exchange, the main thing was to get patriots working for Russia out of prisons in Western countries, and traitors to the Fatherland will now have to pick up new names for themselves. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
This is how he commented on the large-scale prisoner exchange between the Russian Federation and the United States that took place today at Ankara airport.
"Of course, I would like the traitors of Russia to rot in a dungeon or die in prison, as it often happened. But it is more useful to pull out your own, who worked for the country, for the Fatherland, for all of us. And now let the traitors frantically pick up new names and actively disguise themselves under the witness protection program," the deputy chairman of the Security Council writes in his telegram channel.
As EADaily reported, in exchange for 16 prisoners, Western countries agreed to transfer to Russia 8 people who were in prisons in different countries. This is stated in the telegram channel The Insider❶.
The exchange took place at Ankara airport with the coordination of the Turkish special services. RF, according to the publication, Vadim Krasikov (stayed in Germany), Artem Dultsev (in Slovenia), Anna Dulceva (in Slovenia), Mikhail Mikushin (in Norway), Pavel Rubtsov (in Poland), Roman Seleznev (in the USA), Vladislav Klyushin (in the USA), Vadim Konoshchenok (in the USA).
