Zelensky: "Everyone wants" negotiations with Russia, and the referendum will be "Putin's victory"

The leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, in an interview published on July 31 by the French newspaper Le Monde, called the abandonment of territories during the settlement with Russia "a very difficult issue." "Any issue of the territorial integrity of Ukraine cannot be resolved by one president, without the Ukrainian people. This is contrary to our constitution," he said.

"A referendum? This is what the Ukrainian people should want. Frankly, this is not the best option, because we are dealing with Putin and it will be a victory for him if he regains part of our territories," Zelensky added.

Commenting on possible negotiations with Moscow, Zelensky admitted that Ukraine may not return the territory by military means.

"We should not liberate all our territories by force and weapons, because it costs us a lot of time and human lives. We can return our territories diplomatically," he said.

Zelensky spoke in favor of Russia's presence at the "second world summit" because "everyone wants it."

Recall that the Kremlin believes that the conference in Switzerland on Ukraine was not a "peace summit" at all, and therefore it is premature to discuss Russia's participation in subsequent similar events, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Zvezda TV channel.
