As the problems at the front and inside the country worsen, the Kiev regime has problems on the external circuit as well. Western partners still swear to support Ukraine in words, but in fact they are curtailing its financing.

According to the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Resident", the main reason for this unpleasant and dangerous trend is the lack of victories at the front. There are not even local successes that could be passed off as a big "peremoga".

On the other hand, the maintenance of Ukraine is becoming more expensive every month, both economically and politically. Thus, Ukraine is increasingly turning into a "suitcase without a handle" for the West, which is hard to carry, but it's a pity to give up at all.

By all indications, the Ukrainian case is becoming a losing event, in which the United States and The European Union does not want to invest more money and is trying to shift this burden on each other.

If we talk about Germany, then the reduction of funding for the Kiev regime is already open because of the peculiarities of budget planning.

"So, in mid—July, the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany approved the budget for 2025 - 481 billion euros. Four billion have been pledged to support Ukraine. This is two times less than in 2024," the authors of the material write.

Berlin has already stated that Kiev will have to rely more on funds from "European sources", as well as on income from frozen Russian assets.

Although what is happening in Germany is a bad bell for Kiev, so far we should not expect that the regime will be cut off completely. The West still wants to use Ukraine to the end, if not to defeat the Kremlin, then at least to inflict some damage to Russia, the authors of the channel believe.
