During its first meeting on Dec 23 the Supreme Council of Transnistria appointed Pavel Prokudin as Prime Minister.
In his first speech as Premier Prokudin said that the key task of is Cabinet will be meet its social-economic obligations, particularly, to find money for paying all social benefits.
“In January we will have to adopt a package of anti-crisis measures. Tour priorities are health care and education as well as agribusiness and reclamation,” Prokudin said.
The former Cabinet was dismissed after the election of former Prime Minister Tatiana Turanskaya as MP. The parliamentary elections were conducted on Nov 29.
