The leader of rebels, former Deputy Defense Minister of Tajikistan, General Abduhalim Nazarzoda was killed during an anti-terrorist operation in Ramit Gorge (just 40 km far from Dushanbe), reports Asia Plus News Agency.
As EADaily reported earlier, the operation of the Tajik law enforcers against Nazarzoda and his supporters was launched on Sept 4, with almost 100 rebels detained and 15 killed.
