Today, on May 21, the Ukrainian Supreme Rada has denounced treaties between the Ukrainian and Russian government on mutual protection of classified information, organization of interstate military traffic and on cooperation in defense intelligence. The action is aimed at protection of the national interests, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, it is said on the website of the Ukrainian parliament.
All the treaties were signed in late 1990s and were enacted in 2002 after being ratified by the Supreme Rada.
