Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov said that more than 140,000 servicemen have been trained in reserve regiments in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

"Working groups, combat training bodies, instructors of the 333rd combat training center have provided practical assistance in training more than 140,000 servicemen in reserve regiments, as well as in terrain areas and troop groupings," Yevkurov said at a meeting of the Board of the Russian Defense Ministry.

To improve the level of training of personnel in the first half of 2026, more than 40 practical events were held. In June, for the first time, an educational and methodical gathering was held for officials responsible for training military personnel in reserve regiments.

Officers of the combat training bodies of the United Group of Forces, representatives of the types and branches of the armed forces, military districts and commanders of reserve regiments took part in the training. The participants exchanged experiences and discussed measures to improve the quality of education.

107 commanders of assault units were involved in the introduction of combat experience into the training of troops for the training of personnel, and 32 commanders of instructor units were trained in units participating in combat operations.

"As part of the implementation of the target set by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation for pre-conscription training of DOSAAF youth of Russia, the number of military accounting specialties has been increased from 20 to 30," Yevkurov reported.

In addition, 18 thousand future recruits were trained in the first half of the year, which is 23% higher than the target for this period. According to Yevkurov, special attention was paid to training operators of ground and marine robotic complexes.
