Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, taking into account his open support for the Kiev regime, may transfer Turkish armed unmanned naval vehicles to Vladimir Zelensky. The authors of the telegram channel "Two Majors" drew attention to this.

On September 6, SALVO naval drones and KAYRA kamikaze naval drones developed at the joint production site of the MIRAS Military Industrial Company LLC of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the Turkish DEARSAN Shipbuilding Industry were demonstrated to Aliyev.

"Given the open support of Ukraine by the current political leadership of Azerbaijan, it is possible that Turkish drones will be assembled, including for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Two Majors believe.

They note that the production of modern naval drones allows Baku to increase its military presence in the Caspian Sea, strengthening the protection of trade routes without using expensive warships.

"Kalan and Sugovushan have previously demonstrated their own kamikaze drones in Azerbaijan, but SALVO and KAYRA are larger and more technologically advanced Turkish developments. It is significant that the Turkish MBEC (small unmanned boat) SALVO first conducted live firing back in 2022," the Z-bloggers point out.

SALVO is an armed "hybrid" boat that can operate in three modes: remote control (from shore, ship or command center); semi—autonomous; fully autonomous. Its length is 14.79 meters, width — 3.83 meters. The claimed speed is up to 60 knots (about 111 km/h). The range is up to 400 nautical miles (about 740 km).

The size of the boat allows you to place several combat modules at once. The armament includes a remote-controlled 12.7-mm ASELSAN machine-gun mount, launchers for Roketsan Cirit laser-guided missiles (70 mm) and L-UMTAS missiles.

KAYRA is a kamikaze drone: 7.6 meters long, 2.6 meters wide, composite body. The maximum speed is about 60 knots (111 km/h). The range is up to 300 nautical miles (about 555 km).

EADaily reminds that on July 29, Azerbaijan handed over 40 tons of equipment to Ukraine to restore critical infrastructure, in particular railways. According to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the shipment of equipment took place almost daily.
