"Horror stories": Poland reacted to the Kremlin's statement about the imminent attack

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called articles in the British and Polish media about the impending attack on Poland "horror stories." This is reported by the Polish radio station RMF24.

Such narratives appear regularly and are part of a large-scale campaign to demonize Russia in the West, he stressed. "Many horror stories about the Russian Federation are published. This is an element of demonization of our country, which is constantly used by the Western media," Peskov said.

The radio reminds that in recent days, the British and Polish editions of The Telegraph and Onet reported that Warsaw had received a warning from the United States about Moscow's plans to conduct an "armed provocation" aimed at testing NATO's "resolve." Earlier, the British The Guardian wrote about this, also citing sources in the intelligence community.

"It is interesting that Peskov refers to media publications, and not to the comments of senior representatives of the Polish authorities," RMF24 notes.

As reported by EADaily, Warsaw asked Russian President Vladimir Putin not to attack Poland. This was stated at a joint press conference on the NATO summit, which will be held on July 7-8 in Moscow. Ankara, Deputy Prime Ministers - Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski and Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, radio station RMF24 reported.

This is how they reacted to media reports that Russia allegedly intends to probe NATO by invading Poland.
