Russia will negotiate on Ukraine only with those who "responsibly approach the task of achieving a just and sustainable settlement." This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, noting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces must first withdraw from Donbass.

The diplomat did not address the representatives of Ukraine, explaining that she did not want to get dirty, but offered the media to advise Bankova to "take a sober look at the situation," TASS reports. According to her, Kiev should "stop making inadequate demands and withdraw the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Donbass, which will accelerate the cessation of hostilities."

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that the current approach of the Ukrainian authorities, "as well as attempts to talk to Russia in the language of blackmail, threats, ultimatums are categorically unacceptable."
