In the Donetsk People's Republic there was a partial collapse of the bridge on the highway between Donetsk and Mariupol.
This was reported to the TASS news agency on Wednesday, July 1 by the head of the Volodarsky district of the DPR Konstantin Zinchenko. According to him, an alternative way of detour will be organized for drivers.
"Yeah. The span collapsed there," the local leader confirmed.
The publication clarifies that we are talking about crossing the Kalka River, located in the Volodarsky district. The bridge was damaged as a result of a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the bridge in Novoazovsk in the south of the DPR was partially destroyed after a night attack by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The movement was organized by a bypass through the village of Guselshchikovo.
