The governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, called the militant of the Kiev regime, who burned the letter "Z" on the body of one of the captured Russians, a "beast".
As the TASS news agency reported on Monday, June 29, this became known during a meeting of the head of the region with civilians who returned from Ukrainian captivity.
One of them told about his stay in the Ukrainian field hospital in Sumy region. According to him, the Ukrainian military burned the letter "Z" just above the elbow on his right hand.
"Some kind of beast," Khinshtein responded.
Recall that the invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region began on August 6, 2024. On April 26, 2025, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, reported on the complete liberation of the region.
