As part of the peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia, the withdrawal of Russian troops from Transnistria may be discussed. This was announced today, June 28, by Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
"Of course, every time we raise this issue, and Europe raises it. We hope that together we can solve this problem," Sandu said.
As EADaily reported, today in Chisinau there was a rather crowded opposition rally on a local scale, at which Maya Sandu and her government were called upon to resign. People came both from the capital and from many parts of the country. The main reason was the tax policy, which led to the impoverishment of Moldovans.
