Russian strike drones "Geranium" can rightly be called an engineering masterpiece. This opinion was expressed by the general designer of the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions Dmitry Kuzyakin. Details are provided by TASS.
According to the expert, in the future these devices will occupy a place of honor on the pedestals along with the legendary manned aircraft.
"Geranium is really a work of engineering art. This is such a versatile and multifaceted technique that to characterize its power is a very thankless task," Kuzyakin believes.
The basic model "Geranium-2" is made according to the tailless aerodynamic scheme and is equipped with an internal combustion engine. The drone is capable of hitting targets at predetermined coordinates, carrying high-explosive fragmentation or thermobaric warheads. There are also modifications with a camera and a radio modem controlled by the operator in real time.
