The shortage of gasoline in Crimea immediately led to queues at the Taman gas station, where residents of the peninsula went. However, this is not all. Local residents complain that Crimeans have found ways to circumvent the limits set by gas stations.
Not all residents of the Temryuk district neighboring Crimea were happy when thousands of Crimeans drove gasoline across the Crimean Bridge. According to the telegram channel "Temryuk Info", some of them are asking them to allocate several columns at the gas station for local residents so that they do not lose working hours in queues, or drive on "leftovers".
However, this is not all. This week, due to a shortage on the peninsula, two hundred liters of gasoline were allowed to be transported through the Crimean Bridge in a strictly defined container. And although the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory did not set limits on fuel supply, the restrictions were introduced by the gas stations themselves.
As residents of the Temryuk district complain, enterprising Crimeans immediately figured out how to get around them.
"They fill up in the tank, drive off, drain the gasoline into the cans and go back to the gas station," writes Temryuk Info.
There is also another option.
"There are several people in the car. First, one refills the set limit, then the second, the third, and so on. At the same time, the car does not move away from the column. They fill up a full tank and cans in the cabin," the readers of Temryuk Info told.
As EADaily reported, after the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kerch crossing on Sunday, both the free sale of gasoline and diesel fuel and their vacation on coupons were completely stopped on the peninsula. Fuel is available only to government agencies and operational services. This was the reason that even more Crimeans went to the mainland for gasoline and queues for The Crimean bridge from Kerch has already reached almost a thousand.
