Daughter of a man who left Russian comedian called father a "proud Jew"

The daughter of stand-up comedian Mikhail Shats ❶ Sophia said that after moving to Israel, her father began to treat his roots differently. She told about this in an interview with the Radio Van project on YouTube.

"He became even more Jewish, if possible, after moving to Israel," she said.

Sophia clarified that Schatz Sr.❶ even began to wear a medallion with a star of David around his neck.

"Dad is really a proud Jew now, I would say," she joked.
