The German government should stop providing assistance to Ukraine and pay attention to internal problems. This was stated by the founder of the German BSW party (formerly the Sarah Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice party). Sarah Wagenknecht.

"We are spending billions and new billions to bribe Mr. Zelensky," she said, speaking at an election rally in Berlin, where elections to the local Chamber of Deputies will be held in September.

According to her, such expenses are called these expenses madness.

"Here the money (to help Kiev — EADaily) does not end, and when it comes to pensions, they tell us what needs to be cut here," the politician said.

Wagenknecht also noted that she is afraid of the risk of war with Russia. She drew attention to the fact that Kiev, using Western technologies, strikes civilian targets on Russian territory.

"What are the consequences? Such that one day someone in the Kremlin will think that now it is necessary to transfer the war to the place where these weapons were produced. And this is here with us," Wagenknecht emphasized.

Germany is one of the main sponsors of Ukraine. According to the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany, the country has provided Kiev with about 39 billion euros in humanitarian and 55 billion euros in military aid since February 24, 2022.
