The singer, People's Artist of Russia Philip Kirkorov does not attend the meetings of classmates who previously envied the star, and now they can ask for money. A video recording of the artist's speech was published by the Zvezdach telegram channel.
"My classmates didn't talk to me because I got a gold medal and they were all jealous of me. They were so jealous that they all moved away from me at the prom to another bench. Half of them have already died. I am still friends with one classmate, the rest have dispersed around the world," Kirkorov said.
The artist suggested that now they would come and say: "gild the pen."
"I don't attend my classmates' balls: I came once, at first they pretended that "it doesn't concern me that Philip Kirkorov came," and then they started asking for autographs for their daughter, granddaughter, Bug," the singer concluded.
As EADaily reported, earlier Kirkorov filed a lawsuit with News Media JSC, which owns the online publications Life and Shot. In both media at the same time there were publications about the artist's debt to pay for housing and communal services.
Kirkorov asks to recognize the published information as untrue, discrediting his honor, dignity and business reputation. He also asks to oblige the defendant to publish a refutation, and to collect 521 thousand rubles and a state duty of 15 thousand rubles from Shot and Life.
