The Russian medium-range missile "Oreshnik" has a hidden capability that could be fatal for the Ukrainian capital. This was stated by RANEPA military analyst Alexander Stepanov in an interview with TASS. According to him, in addition to hitting ground targets, the weapon is capable of effectively destroying the enemy's underground industrial infrastructure.
The expert explained that the kinetic potential of the Hazel makes it possible to open Soviet engineering structures of deep occurrence. It is there now, according to analysts, that Kiev has placed its key capacities: assembly shops for strike and reconnaissance UAVs, component depots, as well as production lines for Flamingo-type missiles. Systemic attacks on these facilities have already begun after the terrorist attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Starobilsk.
Stepanov stressed that the Western air defense systems transferred to Kiev are powerless against Russian hypersonic weapons. This makes the use of "Hazel" not only an effective tool for the demilitarization of Ukraine, but also a serious signal for NATO countries that finance the Kiev regime.
EADaily previously also informed that Russian military pilots received the most effective fighters.
