The strategic risks of a "frontal collision" between NATO and the Russian Federation are increasing, its consequences will be catastrophic. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

The deputy Minister noted in an interview with TASS "the escalating narrative of European capitals about the "impending threat of a high-intensity war" with Russia."

"As a result of such an escalation of tension, including frankly provocative actions in the nuclear sphere, strategic risks and the danger of a frontal clash between NATO and our country with all the potentially catastrophic consequences that follow are increasing," Ryabkov stressed.

Ryabkov, commenting on Finland's intentions to allow the import of nuclear weapons, as well as the plans of France and Poland will hold exercises over the Baltic, where they will practice nuclear strikes on targets in He pointed out that "the Russian Federation has quite directly and unequivocally stated its extremely negative attitude towards such preparations on the part of the Europeans."
