Tajikistan deported an enclave of 250 people to Afghanistan after the murder of a girl

Tajik authorities have deported an ethnic enclave of 250 people after the murder of a 27-year-old girl in the city of Khujand.

Law enforcement officers in 17 cars took out the settlement for deportation. All 250 Afghan Tajiks who fled Afghanistan from the repressions of the Taliban in search of asylum will be returned back, "with the expected consequences," military blogger Sergei Kolyasnikov said on the Telegram channel.

The reaction of the Tajik authorities looks indicative. An entire ethnic enclave had to pay for the murder of a woman. "There is only one "but": it is difficult to imagine such a thing in Russia," Tsargrad comments on the situation.

"In our country, such rigidity towards ethnic enclaves is rare. Most often, the responsibility falls only on the direct criminals, and their surroundings, whole diasporas, continue to live by their own rules, often ignoring the laws of Russia," the TV channel notes.

Kirill Kabanov, a member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Committee, has repeatedly drawn attention to the problem of the formation of ethnic enclaves. One of the most striking examples is the Khanty—Mansi Autonomous Okrug. According to Kabanov, under the former governor Natalia Komarova, the whole region was "turned into an ethnic enclave."

Kabanov states that Komarova pursued a policy of "wide open doors", passports of Russian citizens were distributed to migrants en masse and without restrictions. The concentration of visitors became such that the indigenous population, who had even the slightest opportunity, left, unable to withstand the pressure of the "new Russians".

The only way to stop the spread of ethnic enclaves, according to Kabanov, is consistent action and strict compliance with the laws of Russia.
