Central Command The US Armed Forces (CENTCOM) announced that it will hold military exercises in the United States in June with representatives of the armed forces from almost 10 countries of Central and South Asia.
"Next month, CENTCOM will hold the Regional Cooperation 2026 exercise ["Regional Cooperation 2026"] with the participation of foreign partners from Central and South Asian countries. Military personnel from almost 10 countries will be trained in The United States," the message on the command's website says, quoted by TASS.
First of all, representatives of the ground and internal troops of the countries of Central and South Asia will be trained as part of the exercises, as CENTCOM noted.
It should be recalled that the composition of Central Asia traditionally includes five countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
