Ukrainian servicemen, who are fighting in the Zaporozhye region, were brought to a critical condition due to lack of food and water. They asked their colleagues to kill them so as not to experience further the pangs of thirst and hunger.
This was reported on Monday, May 4 by RIA Novosti, citing radio interception data provided by Russian military intelligence. On the provided recording, the Ukrainian military complains to his commander with the call sign Azot about the difficult conditions of service.
"They themselves are begging me, they themselves are begging them to be "reset" already. They are already starving and without water, just like us. We feed what we can, but we don't have enough ourselves," the Ukrainian Armed Forces militant reports.
The commander replies that so far he has not been able to deliver food and water to the front line, since Ukrainian units are experiencing a "problem with drones" in this sector of the front. Because of this, in a number of positions, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not received provisions for five days.
Earlier, EADaily reported that in the Kharkiv region, the defensive line of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is collapsing in the area of the settlement of Nesternoye, which is located southeast of the previously liberated Sandy.
