The Leningrad region repelled one of the most massive attacks by Ukrainian UAVs since the beginning of SMO — more than 60 drones were shot down. All of them used the airspace of Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland, says Mash.

"The drones were launched from the Lutsk region bordering Poland. We flew about 1100 km. Over Estonia, the devices were moving at extremely low altitude, literally above the houses, 20-30 meters above the roofs. Locals reported a hum at the Narva reservoir, in the Orekhovaya Gorka area and in other parts of the city. Later, residents of the Estonian border regions of Vyrumaa and Ida-Virumaa received reports of an unmanned threat. Then the authorities confirmed the "violation" of airspace. Soon, the national armed forces of Latvia also reported the presence of UAVs," the report says.

Later, drone calls were reported in Finland. The Air Force recorded a UAV in the Virolakhti area. This municipality is located about 50 km in a straight line from the port of Primorsk, which was the target of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As EADaily reported, against this background, the Estonian Defense Forces confirmed that only one drone "really briefly entered the country's airspace in the area of Lake Peipsi, after which it left it and returned towards Russia."

The main question for many residents of Estonia is not only what they heard at night, but also why the SMS alert about the threat, according to some citizens, did not come to everyone.
