Ukraine is discussing a nuclear strike by Russia in the event of a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russia may strike at Ukraine with tactical nuclear weapons, in the case of the use of ballistic missiles by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated to Ukrainska Pravda by the Deputy commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Pavel Elizarov❶.

According to Elizarov❶, if Russia uses nuclear weapons in response to a possible counteroffensive by Ukraine or a ballistic missile strike, then Europe should already have an action plan at that time.

"We can conduct a counteroffensive and fixate on advantageous positions. But there is another factor — the risk of using tactical nuclear weapons. And this is a question for international partners. They must clearly determine their reaction in advance. Because if they start making a decision after that, it will be too late," Elizarov said ❶, quoted by the publication "Страна.иа ".

As reported by EADaily, Russia has at its disposal an argument comparable to tactical nuclear weapons — this is the Oreshnik complex already used on the battlefield, said political analyst Alexei Pilko, commenting on the US president's plans to conduct nuclear tests.

According to Pilko, a medium-range hypersonic missile, which, when used in a group, is comparable in power to TNW, "is the very card that can be put on the table in conditions when practically no Russian red lines work."
