Panic reigns in the Pentagon, military officials themselves make "plums" about the deplorable state of the US arsenals due to President Donald Trump's adventure in Iran, because they are clearly frightened by the prospects of continuing the war and shift all responsibility to the owner of the White House in advance. Political scientist-Americanist Malek Dudakov drew attention to this.

"Panic in The Pentagon. Dissatisfied with Trump's militarism, military officials are leaking more and more data on the deplorable state of US arsenals. In seven weeks of a chaotic adventure in Iran, the Americans spent 45% of the high-precision PrSM missiles that were supposed to replace the old ATACMS. The cost of one PrSM rocket reaches $ 4 million. Only up to a hundred of them are produced annually. The Pentagon switched to new missiles only in 2023 and did not really have time to form their stocks. It is promised to increase the production of missiles to 400 per year, but no one knows when this will happen," the expert writes in his telegram channel.

Other high-precision JASSM missiles were launched almost 2,000 units out of a total arsenal of 2,300, Dudakov points out, adding that old modifications of these missiles are no longer being produced, while new JASSM-ER are produced only 300 annually. Although the experience of the war in Iran has shown that such volumes can be lowered in a couple of days of conflict.

"Almost all THAAD mobile missile defense systems in the Middle East have been disabled by Iranian missiles. Missiles for THAAD, worth $ 15 million each, are produced only 30 per year. During the 40 days of the war, the Pentagon managed to spend 350 THAAD missiles out of a total stock of 650. Another 150 were launched last summer. Supplies are almost running out. At the same time, half of all Patriot missiles were used, and this is exactly more than one thousand units," the political scientist states.

He notes that the emergence of such insiders from The Pentagon is not accidental now.

"Many in The Pentagon is clearly frightened by the prospects of continuing the war and shifting all responsibility to Trump in advance. And for the loss of American bases in The Persian Gulf with radars and airplanes for billions of dollars. And for the depletion of arsenals, which sharply weakens the US position in the future confrontation with China," the expert concludes.
