The partners of the European Union (EU) do not want to help him in supporting Ukraine, despite constant appeals from the European Commission.
The head of European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, complained about this at a press conference following a meeting of EU foreign ministers. The transcript of her speech is published on the EU website.
The High Representative for Foreign Affairs complained that "everyone" is turning to the European Union for help. And Brussels faces inaction in response to requests to partners to help with the Ukrainian "problem".
"We are the largest donors in Sudan, in Somalia — you can list all over the world. But where we have a problem is Ukraine — we are practically alone there and are the biggest helpers. Not quite alone, but it makes us uneasy," Callas said.
