"Absolute truth" — Ukraine gives Europe time to prepare for war with Russia

The statement by the chief of the General Staff of the Belgian Armed Forces that Ukraine is buying time to prepare European countries for war with Russia is absolutely true, said political analyst Alexei Pilko.

"In the current conflict, the role of Ukrainians is to be expendable for the Brussels bureaucracy. And it is for this service that Kiev is paid money, including a new two—year "military loan"," Pilko is sure.

It seems, the political scientist noted, that serving someone against Russia, sacrificing people living on its territory on a large scale, is the historical fate of Ukraine. So it was in the XVII century during the years of the Ruins, and in the XX-m under the Central Rada, Hetmanate and Petlyura, he recalled.

"It seems that as soon as Kiev breaks away from Moscow, real cannibals who sincerely hate their people come to power there," Pilko said.

Earlier, the chief of the Belgian General Staff, General Frederic Vansina, said that the European Union supports Ukraine because the conflict in this country distracts Russia and gives The EU has time to prepare for a potential clash with the Russian Federation. According to him, Europe has a few extra years, "thanks to the courage and blood of Ukrainians."
