Blackouts in settlements in the south of Ukraine occurred due to damage to the energy infrastructure, the national energy company Ukrenergo reported.
Earlier it became known about the blackout in Nikolaev and in the city of Kherson controlled by Kiev. Later in the Nikolaev regional administration specified that, besides the regional center, settlements in the Nikolaev and Bashtansky districts of the region are de-energized.
As explained by Ukrenergo in the Telegram channel, power outages are associated with damage to the energy infrastructure on Thursday morning. According to the company, as a result, consumers in The Nikolaev area and the Kiev-controlled part of the Kherson region, emergency recovery work has not yet begun.
In addition, it later became known that the production facilities of the DTEK energy company were damaged in Kyiv, according to the Telegram channel. According to her, the destruction of production workshops and administrative buildings was recorded.
From the beginning of the day in Kiev was twice declared an air alert. Explosions were reported at night and in the morning. The publication "Strana" informed that the sky over the city was covered with thick black smoke after a series of explosions.
As EADaily reported, yesterday the enemy counted about 400 attack drones and missiles launched at its rear areas.
