The current Prime Minister Viktor Orban can lift the veto on granting Ukraine an EU loan of 90 billion euros after the launch of the Druzhba oil pipeline. This was stated by the leader of the Tisa party, which won the parliamentary elections in Hungary, Peter Magyar.
He confirmed his position that Hungary, as previously planned, will not participate in financing the loan for Ukraine. However, according to the future prime minister, his country will not prevent Kiev from receiving assistance.
In addition, Magyar called on the president to convene parliament to form a new government "as soon as possible" and hopes to take office on May 5.
Recall, Hungary is blocking the provision of an EU loan to Kiev in the amount of 90 billion euros due to the termination of the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba oil pipeline. Budapest and Bratislava consider this decision of Ukraine to be politically motivated. After the victory of the Magyar, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, announced that the repair of Druzhba would be completed by the end of April.
