A museum in Germany with a main military tank has banned Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians from entering

The Museum of Military Equipment in Koblenz (WTS) has banned entry to citizens of 26 countries, including Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. The corresponding message of the museum drew the attention of the RBC portal.

"Due to the requirements of military security, access to the collection is currently prohibited for citizens of states included in the list of states defined in paragraph 17 of Article 13 of the Law on Security Verification (SÜG)," the report says.

Also among the countries whose citizens will not be allowed into the museum are: Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, China, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, DPRK, Cuba, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Pakistan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

The collection of military equipment was created in 1961-1962 at the Bundeswehr test site No. 91 in Meppen/Emsland. Since 1982, it has been located in Koblenz, where the headquarters of the Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and Technical Support of the Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) is also located, whose department also includes the museum in Koblenz.

According to the museum's portal, this is one of the largest such collections in Europe. Since 1982, the exhibits have been visited by more than 1 million people.

Among the exhibits of the museum are the French Renault FT 17 tank, developed at the end of the First World War, as well as a model in the section of the main German Leopard 1 battle tank, prototypes and pre—production models of weapons and equipment of the German and NATO Armed Forces.

The entrance to the museum is strictly by identity card, the cost of the visit is € 3.
