The leader of the Taiwanese opposition party Kuomintang, Cheng Li-woon, held a meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, after which she announced the threat of war with China. It is reported by Clash Report today, April 10
"It's a choice between peace and war. We cannot allow Taiwan and the Taiwan Strait to become a battlefield. I very much hope that all political parties in Taiwan will put the relations between the two coasts above party differences and jointly make efforts for peace. And just now, Secretary General Xi has also demonstrated this important benevolent attitude," Cheng Li-woon said in Beijing.
The visit of the leader of the Kuomintang Party to China was the first for the first time in 10 years.
